I have a similar problem that I discovered yesterday. In the passenger seat of my 94 9000 CSE, if you attempt to incline/ recline the back of the seat using the power seat control on the door side of the seat, only the side of the seat towards the middle of the car moves forward or back. The side of the seat back closest to the door seems stuck in place. This means that using the incline/ recline twists the seat back. I was not sure if there is one motor for each side of the seat or how the mechanism is set up. Perhaps a gear is locked up? Does anybody know how many motors control the seat back motion?
