What slave did you use? Scantech or Saab? If it was Saab, read the following:
There have been an issue with the genuine Saab slaves where the grease used from the factory was incorrect, so the pedal got sluggish and hard when the car had warmed up. If you are experiencing this issue, the good news is that it goes away after the car has been driven for a couple of weeks and the grease is worn away. I had the same symptoms (though the pedal didn't stick completely, just slow to return) after getting a new clutch, slave, master and transmission installed last year. During 2-3 weeks it got better and better and finally went away completely.
My indy has had quite a few customers with this issue and after they found out about it they started to clean and re-grease the slave cylinders before install. There've also been quite a few here on Saabnet with the same issue.
