For some reason, only the genuine Saab article works reliably in clutch hydraulics.
I used a Scantech several years ago, and after 30 minutes it had failed. Upon removal, an internal seal had pushed its way out of the slave assembly and jammed it.
Sorry not to have a less horrible answer for you. And may you yet get the thing working!! But if not, at least console yourself that you're in good company when it comes to getting burned by non-Saab clutch hydraulics.
