Sunshade/interior panel Posted by Gene N [Email] (#1094) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gene N) on Thu, 4 Feb 2010 08:18:17 In Reply to: Re: Headliner write-up, paul de k, Thu, 4 Feb 2010 07:59:18 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Paul, from what I remember when I replaced my headliner, that is a very thorough description of the process. What you didn't touch upon was the replacement of the fabric on the sunshade, on the glass sunroof, or the interior piece on the steel sunroof. Both of these were unpleasant in their own way, and unfortunately so long ago that I would be unable to describe the procedure from memory. The steel sunroof is slightly easier because you don't have to remove the sunroof to do it, but it requires you to know where to pry, and where not to pry. For the glass roof, you have to remove the glass, and pull the cables out of the tracks to get the sliding panel out.
The specifics of both are probably available using the search function.
