Did it almost 2 years ago on my '96 CSE and haven't looked back.
IMHO, SAS bars are the single best thing you can do to improve a 9K. I did mine the same time I put on the Sport Chassis kit (Aero suspension).
For everyday driving, playing on back roads and on track days the bars make the car what it should have been to begin with. A 9K feels really well planted anyway, but the bars bring it to a whole other level, especially when pushing it a bit hard on a nice back road.
Most people add power first, then maybe think about the suspension. But I take a ground up approach. IMHO there's more everyday fun in better handling than with extra power. And the handling makes the extra power even better if you add it later.
Enjoy the ride and handling.
