i agree.
Make them pay to replace your car! They will claim your car is worth nothing. The bottom line is they HAVE TO SETTLE w/ you!!! Make sure you get enough money to replace your car w/ the same! Remember, deception and numbers is their game...
A garbage truck totaled my 90 900 years ago. The ins. co. insisted that the car was worth nothing. They even sent an appraiser to my house. He insisted that SAABs are not classic or collectible cars (apparently, he thought only Detroit gas guzzlers qualify). Even though i had a HUGE stack of receipts from restoration efforts.
He even went as far as to print that on the formal appraisal report. "Be advised that the customer thinks this car is a collector car. This car is not a collector car". Yea, tell that to any of us right!
Well, the ins. co. argued w/ me and eventually she hung up on me when i just simply refused their low-ball offer and wanted my car replaced w/ the same thing. 1 month later I got a check for $100 more than i asked for. nice business ethics, no wonder we are in financial trouble
ya gotta watch out for those scaly cheats.
