As far as the engineers are concerned, anything between min and max is acceptable. So why do people think more is better, or at least alright? Are those who like it over filled better than the engineers, or do they have some other issues? If these cars used lots of oil, a little over fill might be a good thing, to delay going below min. I agree having a little extra in the bank is a good thing, is extra oil better on the shelf or in the car?
