I did them on my 1992 9000CDT autos... it takes some time, some patience, a floor jack, a couple of jack stands, a piece of 3/4 inch plywood about 6 x 6 inches or so...
the right front is the easiest to get too...
jack the car up with the floor jack on the pivot point on the lower A arm , take the wheel off, and THEN put a floor jack at the stock jack point on the right side near the hinge and try to do it low enough so that the car is at a normal attitude as though the tire was on and on the ground.
remove the entire inner fender well cover etc... start with the fender lip...
once that is off... you can see the right front mount on the right side of the wheel well as viewed looking to the front.
now put the plywood on the floor jack and position under the engine (plywood distributes the weight)and ease UP just until take the weight a LITTLE...
NOW to to the upper motor mount, the "dog bone" one. and take it off. it's pretty easy, and intuitive too... taking some weight with the floor jack makes it easier...
after dog bone is off... (and btw you may want to replace THAT mount too) the other one that is bolted on the block can be done in place with the tool, or the bracket taken out (requires removing the alternator) if you need to... it is the most work of all of this.
you can go to the right front lower mount and loosen the bolts, take your time, use a good light, and clean it out if needed... look at the replacement mount to decide where the bolts you need to remove are...
then jack the engine up, A LITTLE AT A TIME, check to see if you have the clearance to wiggle, turn, or manuever it out... if you need more room jack it up... BUT only do it stepwise, there will be a point where you are picking up the car and no more room exists. it will come out... clean the area and then put the mount in place, lower as needed SLOWLY to start the bolts... then lower more and tighten. the rear on that side is basically the same, just harder to reach. IF you tackle this... shoot me an email at the reply address and I will give you the rest of the instructions on doing this....
OH remember to put the dog bone back in! :)
