The OG 9-3 came with a front brace, but it's kinda light duty. You don't realize it until you drive a car with a stiffer brace.
I have a '99 9-3Se with the stock version and an '00 9-3SE with the GS front brace. You notice the difference right away, as soon as you dive into a fast on-ramp. Tightens things right up. Am thinking about one for my 9K. And maybe the '99 9-3.
