For fun I have been playing around a little with different O2 sensors in Saab's and Volvo's (mainly 94-99) and I can tell you that some years/models/engines are MUCH MORE sensitive then others.
So it is not really worth it to mess around with a Rambler mentality unless you know that's what you want to do and are ready to throw away that new cheap sensor right away and get the real deal.
Just the heating element of different sensors differs from 1.5 Ohm to 8 Ohm of the ones I have tested and if you are only a few Ohm's off in one of the sensitive cars, you get a fault code right away while some of the less sensitive cars it works just cherry and they complete readiness.
So this is where the internet can fail you badly as well since it might be a person out there swearing up and down that it worked on his car but that the car is not identical to yours.
