I suggest using a miniature straight-blade screw driver to gently pry lock connections ( electrical) go slow and don't force. Plastics can get brittle from time and heat. As far as your hands, wear surgical gloves and old long sleeve shirt that can be thrown away. Oh yeah, have fun!
