The return line on the Blue '94 Aero that I'm rebuilding leaked pretty steadily. Fortunately for me, it was the rubber part of the line that goes from the firewall to the bottom of the fuel rail. I suspect the problem was 2 fold - the rubber had gotten hard and stretched out a little, and the clamps had been sprung maybe one too many times, loosing some of their compressive force.
With patience and persistent force, I was able to pull the rubber hose off the brass barb on the end of the hard line. I then got a short piece of 5/16" fuel line from the local auto parts store. That works out to 7.8mm internal diameter, which is a little bigger than the 7.6mm OEM piece, but if you use some good clamps (the kind that use a screw to tighten), it works just fine.
