2 threaded rod pieces 4 in long (or metric bolt with heads cut off) to insert into engine block in order to slide trans on/off. Invaluable if doing job solo. I actually found the threaded rod pieces at local Ace hardware store.
Engine hoist to pick trans with chain via one of the trans case bolts. Remove a bolt near center area and run it through end-link of the length of chain a couple feet long.
Replace rear main seal on engine (whilst you're in there).
Someone suggested here recently, to use a thread SEALANT (not necessarily thread locker like loctite brand) to put on flywheel bolts. This prevents oil pressure from pushing oil past the threads and into flywheel area.
