Just a little update in case it may ring any bells for anyone who may see this...
Yesterday I took a drive for some errands in the delightful 'new' Aero.
When I opened it the 1st time the central (un-)locking worked just as it should, nice !!
Got to my 1st stop & it also locked correctly...good so far.
Came back out & went to unlock it - and the drivers door only unlocked - and it made a funny little sound like it tried to unlock the rest, but was just too doggone tired, so I tried the pass. side lock as well with the same result.
Arrived at my next stop shortly thereafter & much to my surprise it locked, then unlocked correctly at each stop until I got home again.
The other (possibly ??) related thing is that the dash LED for the alarm stays sort of lit 24/7, with little blinks or dimming/brightenings every now & then.
I've not seen another do that before.
Also, the keychain remote that came with it does seem to work most of the time - and instead of te high pitched alarm sound my '94 (and others) made - it uses what sounds like 1 of the car's horns;
Makes me wonder if that is by design or somebody messed with it ??
