I replaced the original arms basically for convenience. Bad mistake and I blame my own laziness.
I was rebuilding the front end and instead of pressing in new bushings and changing out ball joints, I saw the Moog complete arm available... and I thought, "Simple, right? Moog is a quality brand, right?". I chalked up the first failure to a fluke and tried Moog again. I was wrong on all levels.
Thankfully I still have the old arms and will spend the $$ to do it right. It's disappointing as Moog used to be a well-respected brand. Bottom line here is to never skimp on part quality.
