xenon versus euro, and a euro question

one point, one question:
Some unscrupulous lamp manufacturers are trying to confuse us by labeling their halogen lamps "xenon." Of course these are actually not xenon arc lamps at all; they are halogen lamps with a filament, with a little bit of xenon among the halogen gases inside. The real xenon lamps like you see on M-B, Audi and Lincoln Mk VIII are xenon arc lamps which require high amperage power supplies. The lamps are expensive and so are the power supplies. Xenon lights cost >$2000/car in production quantities, and would be difficult to fit to an existing car at any cost. A better upgrade for a SAAB would be to install Euro headlamp assemblies, which are optically superior to US Gub Mint Approved units (though this wouldn't be cheap either; hundreds of $$$ from a Euro junkyard or "recycler."). Otherwise go with plain old fashioned white halogen lamps, just like the OEM.
Question: Does anyone import new Euro headlight assemblies for 91/92 9000T? Or is there a sourtce in canada? I would be interested.
