... I have a set of the new, cheaper ones (730) on my 9000. At first, I wasn't real impressed with them, but as they've worn in I've come to like them better. I sure wouldn't call them quiet; that's one thing I don't like much about them, they seem kinda noisy to me at mid speeds. Mine hydroplaned a bit the last time we had a heavy rain, although it's been so long that I can't remember much (TN has been incredibly dry). The 9KT has so much power, and is so prone to understeer when you invoke that power in a corner that I find it hard to know how much is the tire's fault when it starts heading for the ditch. I inherited Michelin Pilots when I got mine, and these tires definitely aren't as good as those, though these are about half the price. I've decided not to rotate these, let the fronts wear out and try the Firestone Firehawks next go-round. The Potenza 730's are OK, but overall I'm not all that impressed with them.
