I have used the heavy duty pallets (i.e. non-suspension form). I just suck some existing coolant out of the expansion tank, crush/mash/stir the pallets into the solution. Wait a few minutes, then stir, crush, ..., wait a few more minutes.... You get the picture.
When the whole thing becomes a slurry solution, pour the thing back into the tank and go for a drive.
I did not put all pellets in in one shot, I broke the required dosage up into a few days, let the system digest the pellets so to speak.
If the BL is already in slurry form with some solid in suspension, I would just suck up a bit more coolant from the tank, and mix everything up crush the big lumps into smaller ones and then pour it back in. The water pump should do some more mixing.
I still don't know what the pellets would do if they all clump up at the thermostat :-O.
