I'll try to answer a few of these. You might want to post more specific questions if all of these don't get answered:
i)I agree that the wires in the botom of the drivers seat are probably broken. Quasi's sight is down now, but he has a good write up on it. The partial heating of the passenger seat is a little more odd. Could be a broken wire still, you can check for continuity through the seat bottom and back at the connectors. I believe someone has to be sitting in the passenger seat for it to heat.
ii)Dunno really, I'd suspect the sensor or wiring. Is the sensor visibly intact and the connection not coroded. The sensor looks like it could be easily damaged if the air dam hit a curb.
iii)I think someone else covered this.
iv)No experience but if you have a pro do it, then it will be expensive. If you do it yourself it will be a pain. I think there might be something about it in the FAQ so you might want to check that.
v)No autobox experience here.
vi)If the turbo was getting oil then I doubt the failure is your fault. These are pretty robust units but it's possible the rebuild was just bad. The other possibility is that some crap got into the housing while being installed and either jammed the impeller or chewed up the bearings. I'd definetly try to get a new one under warenty.
Sorry a lot of this is vague or guessing, but I thought I'd chip in to see if I could help. Looks like you have a handful with this car, but it should be great once you get the problems sorted out.
