Yes, the pipe has a threaded boss for the O2 sensor. The inlet end of
the cat' slides over the end of the pipe (OD of pipe is ID of cat').
It's held together with stainless steel band clamps which are, IMHO,
much better than the flange/bolt arrangement. It'll be no problem
to disassemble, if the need should ever arise. My cat' also had a
threaded boss added for the 2nd O2 sensor (my engine is a OBDII '98 CSE).
Not only is the performance wild, but it's environmentally friendly, too!
