Sounds to me like you need to bleed your clutch hydraulic line. You've probably got air in the lines since you rebuilt the master cylinder. It works somewhat like bleeding your brakes. You'll need a bench bleeding kit for this. I found one at Auto Zone for $20. If you need instructions on how to do this, you can email me at mcstar@bwwonline.com
