Hey guys, has anybody removed a passenger airbag from a later model 9000? I need to haul kids and the airbag is bad news. Obviously it is not needed top protect adult pasengers, as the earlier 9000s were among the safest cars on the raod anywhere, and the lock-up seat belts really work great. But I know that there are federal rules and some shops/technicians may be nervous about this. Questions:

1. What kinds of shops/technicians do this sort of thing?
2. How about having an earlier model 9000 golove box from a junk yard installed?
3. Is there a tachnical manual that describes the procedures for replacing an exploded airbag?
4. Is there a way to remove the airbag and still have the SRS idiot light function correctly (i.e.not on 24/7 but only in case of actual fault)?

Any advice gratefully accepted.
