The AIC/IAC is most likely your problem. On my 88 it's mounted in front of the intake manifold - a cylinder device with two hoses attached to it with a wire harness connection. You can take it off add try and clean it with some carb cleaner then a shot of liquid wrench into the two ports. After time and gunk the valve inside doesn't open like it should when a load is applied (like your a/c) thus casuing the stumble in idle. I tried to clean mine to no avail and had to replace it.
