Difficulty depends on the year model.
On a '92 9000CS 2.3T, the cranksensor is behind the serpentine belt
pulley. There you need to remove the belt & pulley (PITA), working
through the wheelwell. Removing the sensor after that is quite simple.
As far as I know on 2.3 models starting '93-'94 the crank-sensor
changed it's position and is located around the crankshaft housing,
where you have access to it without removing the pulley. This sensor
is treaded like a temp. sens. or oil press. sens, and can be removed
the same way.
