I've been in that same boat as you. Took the car to get new tires installed. Dorve the car fo r2 days and decided that something was wrong. Checked the pressure in then and what do you know, 40 something PSI....

A few weeks befor ethis I had the old changed, Car was o.k. fo r2-3 day then it happened, the oil light started flickering every time I accelerated. Checked the oil level adn was like WTF! level was about 1/4 beyond the X in the words MAX. Took it back and had then remove a quart and the cars was fine from then on. It was then that I decided that even though I don't have manuals to my 9k, that doesn't mean that I can't be smart enough to replace/remove something the same way I took it off.

I do most if not all of the work on my car now. I don't mind paying other people to do the work for me but, in my new found wisdom, I'm begining to realize that NO ONE CARES ABOUT MY SAAB AS MUCH AS I DO!! They wont take the time to de-grease/de-crude something while they're in there like I would, would they? Even more than that is during the last 2 incidents, I've actually had to go behind them and fgix or figure out what the hell is the matter with my car. That torques my chain for sure, it just eats me up. Because I care about my car, things get fixed better, I take my time, I learn something NEW everytime I either open the hood or log onto the SAABNET... This place is great, and has saved my plenty.

Peace Out, Phil
