I suppose it wouldn't hurt to pour Bar's Leaks into the reservoir a little at a time over a period of several days or weeks, instead of all at once. This way it would clog up more slowly, or hopefully not at all. [Just kidding, RD!]
I wonder what the difference is between the opaque gray bottle ("Cooling system sealer and conditioner") that you find in auto parts stores and the clear bottle ("Heavy Duty / Radiator and Block Seal") in Walmart for $2.44 for 11 oz. BL web site doesn't say. I suppose the gray one is the safer and improved version?
Has anyone decided to be thrillseeker or guinea pig yet and put BL Engine Oil Stop Leak, BL Power Steering Stop Leak, BL Transmission Stop Leak in their car, and lived to tell about it? Preferably all at once, like a suicide, so that everything clogs up simultaneously and the car is essentially totalled? :)
