The B engine bracket won't work at all on the right (exhaust) side of the motor. It ***MAY*** work on the left side, however.
A better solution would be to find a set of motor mounts for a 1985 900 16 valve. These would be the rubber mounts, not the "hydraulic" mounts. When Saab started putting the H motor in the 99 in the early 80s, they used the same style of mount as the H motor in the 900, which was also on the very earliest 16v motors (with a different right-side bracket, of course). You'll need to drill holes for the body-side mount through the driveshaft tunnels, but that shouldn't bee too hard.
If you use the 4-speed under the 16v, you don't need to do anything about the front motor mount.
