Slyde, Good luck on your project. Those of us who ran 99's for years forget the number of pumps, heads, etc... we've had to change. These repairs are pretty straight forward and if you want to own a 99, get used to it.I bought a 1971 with no transmission and the engine in the trunk. By the time I got it running correctly, I had the engine in and out so much, I could have it out of the car and sitting on the shop floor in 45 minutes. Other guys have similar stories I'm sure. Truth is, we all were having fun and we miss it sometimes. Absolutely the most fun cars to drive I ever owned were 99's.
