Jon, the answer depends on your waterpump/flywheel. If your still running a D-jet system, and you've got a later motor, you need to figure out how it was done. You have to swap over the twelve cog distributor gear onto that D-jet distributor to make it work, or it is stock 8 cog. Also, either flywheel will work, but the earlier and later ones are marked in different degrees on the flywheel timing marks, so that should be easy to determine. If you have a known 12 0r 8 cog distributor handy, pull yours out to compare the gears. If you have an 8 cog, ignore those suggested numbers.
