It misses at all speeds including idle. It's not regular, more of a stumble or stutter. The throttle switch checks out. Once the car is warmed up I can disconnect warm up regulator, cold start injector, aux air valve etc. with no change. I have checked thoroughly for vacuum leaks. O2 sensor is new and the whole lambda system appears ok: I went through the troubleshooting routine in the factory manual. Lambda ECU is correct pn. I originally had a lambda ECU from a n/a car. After I changed it there was no change in the rough running condition but it gave me a much wider range of mixture adjustment. No I haven't had it checked professionally. I need to do that, just been too stubborn/lazy/cheap. I guess my reasoning is that I should be able to find a mixture adjustment by trial and error that would at least make the car run smooth. Whaddya think?
Other things I have checked:
cam timing is ok and correct pn
distributor seems ok and timed at 20 BTDC. vacuum advance does not leak
new cap, rotor, plugs, wires, *twice*
replaced inductive coil in distributor.
replaced ignition module with 2 different ones
new coil didn't help
valve clearances
compression 120 psi all cyls, hot or cold
new injectors, but I'm going to try some others that I know are ok
Thanks for yor help! I'm about out of ideas except maybe the CO adjust.
