Definitely start with the fuse box. It's notorious. Sometimes just rolling the ceramic fuses in their holders will fix it for awhile because they get corroded. Also, remove the relays beside the fuse block and spray the contacts with some contact cleaner or WD-40. If that doesn't help, start checking electrical grounds throughout the car. They get corroded with age too.
