Doug, your right about a lot of stuff, But that one?I must humbly admit that I do have super human cursing talents while working on cars.Shouldn't that be considered a form of wisdom? I appreciate the thought though. Maybe I am wrong. There is something to what I'm saying about the earlier doors and the seal with the stainless trim. My thoughts are always focused on my model years, and they are both very confusing production years. I did purchase those seals, and they were an inch or so short.Doug, your comparisons of all those doors got me thinking. Perhaps the superseeded number is crap...giving you a seal that IS short? That would actually be the first, and only bad superceed I've encountered. That would explain it.My last round ended with a junkyard find. Go to Karl's 99 sight and check out those later Euro budget 99's...X7 or something. He's got some pictures and descriptions of them as well. It seems Saab had a lot of older inventories kicking around, and came up with that car to ditch it. That would be a nightmare trying to figure out your parts needs.
