The power windows and door locks are easy as installing 900 doors and compeleting the wireing. This would be a nice to have on my 76 99ems, but not intrested enough to do it. The 900 interior should go in pretty easy, but I am not sure you will get more room. The 900 dash will be a challenge. I have had both a 99 and a 900 dash totally out and they are vastly differnt. There would be alot of custom modifications including the firewall and I'm not sure there would be enough room for everything. I would take the 99 and a 900 dash apart and have a look and see what you think.
I have had good heat in my 76 99ems in cold weather 20F. I believe it is very easy for the 99 heater core to become blocked by leaves and ect. this could be causing you poor heat issue or the core may need to be reparied. I agree the 900 heater system is much better, but the 99 system does alright.
Good luck on the project, hope to see picture of how you accomplish the 900 dash conversion if you go that route, anything is possible.
