what is the relay by the clutch petal? 1979 99 Posted by Frank [Email] (#2509) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Frank) on Tue, 24 Jun 2008 10:13:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This is almost an update of my older problem with the instrument panel not working, well by luck, the instrument panel, as well as the other things such as the windshield wiper, the interior fan, radiator fan, etc, all work now by luck, but this has happened before when playing around with the ignition relay which i have 2 of and swap them in and out, both work. Here's my question.....I have checked all the wiring under the dash of the car and couldn't find any loose wires or such and when looking around for this source of this problem, I noticed a group of wires that come from the left instrument panel, and go to a relay? by the clutch (when you take out the carpet). Is this a relay? a switch?, I cleaned up the connectors, one of which the contact had black corrosion on it, ....What number is this on the wiring diagram or what is this called? and it's function? I think this might be the source of my problem
Thanks
