99 74 EMS - increasing HP

I've seen a lot of questions on this board about replacing the 99 engines with 900 engines, but I haven't seen much about bringing up the performance of the original 99 EMS engines.
I'm wondering how much of an increase in power is possible, (still retaining longevity) and what tactics have been sucessfully used. I know there is at least one document that throughly discusses everything that could be done to a V4, but I've never seen anything like this for the 99 B engines...
Below are some very preliminary thoughts, if anyone can fill in the blanks, add to the list, or correct / validate numbers, it would be appreciated.
orig engine 110hp (1985cc, Fuel Inj. D-JetTronic)
MSS headers 10hp (?)
elec H2O pump 0.25hp (guess)
Mill block (details?) ?
intake Port and pol. ?
exhaust Port and Pol ?
lighter pistons ?
Cam mod / balance ?
A total in the 130s is my initial goal, but even that is a 10% gain over the 120 starting point with the MSS exhaust headers (a huge 20% gain over the original 110hp). Which might be asking too much, considering that I would still like to get a reasonable life from the engine...
Thanks,
- pete
