Shut off the engine, flip back the little rubber bootie over the slave cylinder pushrod, stick in your fingers, and try to push the clutch arm forward. It should move 4mm, no more/no less.
If it's off, find the little square headed-adjuster on the opposite side of the bell housing. Loosen the lock nut under it; turn the adjuster until the free play is 4mm; then tighten the lock nut. This compensates for wear in the clutch disc.
If there isn't enough travel to get the free play to 4mm, then your clutch disc is worn too far and you'll need to yank the drivetrain and do a clutch job.
