I must have bought from the same guy.

I picked one of the e-brake cables off of a fellow overseas (eBay). I also bought out the entire parts inventory for 96's from a local Saab mechanic and president of the local Saab club this fall; a pair of transmission cases (used) with all new gearing, A timing gear set w/steel balance shaft gear (NOS), (NOS) transaxle pieces that are NLA, new rocker arm assemblies, lights, gaskets, bearings, bumper parts, wheel bearings and a ton of suspension stuff all NOS. The car is like new and doesn't need it now, but I would like to drive it as often as I can, and you never know whats gonna happen. Also, if I ever pick-up another one of these, I'll have some inventory for fix-up. I picked up a few things at this years national meet, but most of my stuff comes ebay.

I basically buy up everything that I can for these things.

I did pick-up a really nice set of (5) like new JP alloy wheels that I believe where a one year option only on the 71 Sonett. I bought them from the fellow in Texas that sold me my car. I haven't done anything with them, and thought that I might use them as bargining chip to find a new dashpad. They cost me a lot of money, and at the time didn't realize how rare they where.

I feel a little more confident driving the car around knowing I most of the major parts available to repair the car should it break.
