Sorry for the confusion. What I mean are the right and left blinkers, and the four way emergency flashers. They are independent of each other in operation, meaning, the emergency flashers have a seperate knob, and the signals are on a stalk.
Do these share the same relay?, and could this be going bad? crawling up under my dash I noticed the the wires from the emerg. flashers and blinkers go into a gold colored cylinder (relay) about the size of a small medicine bottle that is fastened upright. Since no other systems seem to be affected, I thought that I should first clean the main ground strap and fuse contacts in the fuse box.
I have Jack Ashcraft's book on Saab electrics, and the relay seems like a good posibility just by the very nature of how it works.
Thanks,
Randy
