Wow a V4 with AC!! Does it have the "Saab air conditioning" sticker on the rear window? Anyway, yea no starter relay so just a yellow 16 gauge wire from the ignition switch to the starter motor. Sorry can't remember any tricks but the little wiring harness that goes down there should be easy to chase. That yellow wire will have a tag with the number 84 on it if the tags are still intact. Viewing the end of the starter solenoid as it sits when installed on the starter and engine; The battery terminal which is the big bolt is at about 2 o'clock. The yellow wire goes onto a 1/4" spade terminal that is at about 6 o'clock. When you find the yellow wire, before you attach it test it for current that should be present only when the ig. switch is in the start position.
