Thanks for answering Kansas
The clutch pressure plate and disc are very recent. What I was experieinceing intially was a strong clutch judder when releasing the clutch pedal. In fact, reverse gear grinds at time.
What I did then was check the cltuch play by pulling back the boot, It was way off.
After screwing the bolt in to the max with the locking nut present, I realised that it was simply not enough! The play was simply still too wide.
Then I removed the locking nut to see if I could adjust it to 4mm. Yes..yet almost have to bottom out the bolt.
I then got back into the car, and the clutch/transmisson operation was much smoother. Of course, less a locking nut, the adjustment is off again.
I was thinking of perhaps buying a longer bolt in order to replace the locking nut. I did look at the fork , and it seamed fine.
Any ideas?
