Both are high quality systems and are long lasting. The MSS has fewer pieces- not that it matters too much. Installation is a little more involved with Simons system. But not big deal, since you are starting off with a full installation. The MSS, last time I installed one, required enlarging the holes in the engine floor where the header pipes go through. No big deal.
It really comes down to two issues.
1) Performance- the MSS will gain you a little more HP since it is an extractor system, especially if you have ported heads.
2) Noise- the MSS will definitely be louder from the start. And it will increase in loudness over time. Even with two mufflers.
