Yes, that's the one I tend to use. Airtex is a global supplier of fuel pumps and has a decent reputation. This one is rated for 2.5 to 4.5 PSI, which is perfect for the V4 and the Weber 34 setup. I've put in half a dozen or more. Never had a problem or had one fail. They're pretty cheap- Amazon or eBay or Summit Racing list them for under $20.
One other advantage of the electric pump over the mechanical is during starting. Most of us don't drive our VSaabs every day so they sit and the fuel in the carb evaporates. With the mechanical pump you have to crank to get the fuel replenished. With an electric pump, jump in the car, turn on the ignition, hear the pump, and let it pump 30 seconds to fill the carb. Turn on the starter and the car will start almost immediately.
One other thing- safety. So if you get in a wreck and the ignition is still on, the fuel pump may continue to pump which, in theory, could literally fuel the flames. Not so with a mechanical pump. Most people don't worry too much about this potential problem. If you want protection, the easiest solution is to put in a relay wired to the oil pressure sender. When you get in a wreck, the engine stops, oil pressure drops, the sender turns on the warning light and turns off the pump. What that DOES mean, is that you now have to crank the engine on starting to get the oil pressure up to turn on the pump. But there's a solution for that as well... but I digress...
