Thanks for reporting back! I wish more people would let us know the outcome...
Sounds like a very successful job! Many of us don't bother with gaskets- we use a thin smear of RTV and call it good. Did you upgrade the pinion nut to the later, stronger locking one? Did you use thread lock on it? Did you take apart the freewheel and clean it or leave it alone? Just curious.
I probably have a rear lens for you- assume you need just the lens and not the whole light assembly? Is it single colored red or orange on top? I think from the year, it should be orange on top but sometimes people change things around. Let me know and I can look. Unlikely I have a mirror, but I can look for that as well when I check for the lens.
