Nice looking '68! I love the egg crate grill and '68 was the last year of that style.
There should be a paint code plate on the firewall. You should see it when you open the hood. However, given the age, it might not be there... or the car could have been repainted. I had a '68 that was originally white but repainted Glacier Blue (paint code B5) at some point.
Here's a site with some pretty good color plates. It does say "1969 to 1974" but I think it's relevant.

It looks to me like your car is Silver Sand, Saab paint code Y5. Y8, at least on this plate, seems a little too dark.
There's also some vintage Saab color plates up on eBay right now. If you check there, you can see 1968 specific colors and again, Y5 seems to be closest to your car. You might try to get a touchup sample from an online place or a paint shop locally and make sure.
