It's all good - in the photo my 944 Turbo was not damaged. As much as I love my 96, that 944 was much more valuable.
And it's a learning experience right? Never done body work, if you see my cars they're almost all ratty as heck. They tend to run well but they're ratty. So might just be I get a 96 that looks fresh.
Never been to mountain jamboree, the 96's transmission never had enough in her to go more than a few miles. Now I feel much more comfortable taking it on long trips. I usually go to Carlisle every two years or so and catch up with everyone. This year I think we're going to try to bring the whole fleet, or at least 4 of my saabs out to Carlisle.
Another concerns right now is getting the hood and fender aligned correctly, I have some measurements to take, but I am concerned that the fall damage may have twisted things up a bit. I also noted that the rubber fender strips that go between the fender and sill on my car are breaking down into pieces, so if I had a source for that (and for the door seals too) that would be much appreciated
