From the other remarks here, you can guarantee the right fit if you simply reupholster the existing seat frames. I did this earlier this year for the front seats of my '86 900 SPG. I bought some seats taken out of a 9000, and the foam inserts and leather covers fit almost perfectly on the seat frames from my 900. The only place they fit wierd is around the hinge. The first one took me 3hrs, the second one less than 2.
