no problem... the machine work was 2,100$ for total engine rebuild, oversize piston boring, balancing, flywheel lightening, valve porting/hardening, and F4 cam grind. Plus there was about 1,400$ worth of various parts such as gaskets bearings, pistons/rods, bushings, water pump, and exhaust. This is a great engine, and it's a perfect runner. I'm just having a little trouble with the carb adjustment at the moment, as the bulletin mentions... nothing major. My engine was shot completely because it was left in the snow for a few winters with the heads removed... removing the rust-encrusted pistons required the use of a sledge hammer and a few weeks' time... So I needed a rebuild badly. If it hadn't needed a rebuild, I likely would not have gone to the extra expense until one was in order.
