And you are both right about the negative side of the coil. sorry I doubted you, just want to be sure. The 74 tach wiring was a factory add-on, as it has it's own shrink tubing lead that goes to the coil and it is independent from the main harness. I will just re-use the wiring and put it into the 73. As far as I know the clock works. It did the last time I had the battery hooked up. I will definately test it before I put it into the car. Thanks for the help.
One other thing, Kevin. The power lead going to the wiper stalk is for the tach, not the clock. Just tought I would clarify.
