Check the voltage on the battery while running and shutdown. It should be greater than 13V running and greater that 12v shutdown. You might have a bad cell in the battery or a bad ground. Clean your ground connections.
If that isn't it...check your fuel pump pressure (3-4 psi) and flow rate(at least 30gal/hour). You can check the flow rate by pumping into a graduated cylinder.
Then it that does not work...open the carb and check for rust particles.
