Re: Windshield replacement, LED hyperflash - Saabnet.com Bulletin Board
I installed a single 50W 6 ohm resistor (available online at Amazon and others) in each rear turn signal circuit using the T-Taps provided with the resistors. One resistor wire was spliced to the black ground wire and the other to the hot wire for the turn signal. On my car the left looked like a green/yellow (or dirty white) striped wire, on the right it was blue/yellow (or dirty white) striped wire. I got it wrong once but it was easy enough to unfasten it and re-attach to the correct wire. I screwed the resistor to the back of the tail light pan with a self-tapping screw. No more hyperflash. I'd attach pics but the site's function for doing that is apparently out of commission. If you're interested let me know and I can email them to you.
